Revitalising Bundy via witty social engagement with Aussie fans
THE CHALLENGE
Re-engage the Bundy fan base by targeting its core Australian heartland audience and consistently delivering the brand’s distinctive tone of voice across all communications. The objective was to use organic social strategies to cultivate and expand an active community that consistently engages with the brand across its digital ecosystem.
THE APPROACH
Aussies love sport, so we tapped into the brand’s NRL partnership to deliver exactly what they wanted—exclusive footage, player interviews, and plenty of laughs in a punchy social video series.
Then came the game-changer—Bundy Bear was back and calling the shots as Social Media Manager. That meant cheekier content, bolder banter, and unfiltered interactions with brands, creators, and fans.
THE CHANGE
We successfully shifted the way Bundaberg Rum fans interacted with social content. Fans began engaging with Bundy as they would with a mate, rather than viewing it as just another brand. This transformation led to a significant increase in engagement rates, with a 52% rise across platforms over 12 months following the implementation of our support.
